Picture my 8-year-old self... happily visiting my pediatrician for a checkup when he surprisingly put me on a diet. That on moment set me on a life path and rewarding journey.

Like most paths there were twists and turns including 100 diets featuring zany options like the grapefruit diet but eventually I got in the lane of being curious about food, how we eat, why we eat and how our bodies talk to us. My curious self always looked to the deeper “why”- the higher order of things. That curiosity cracked the code- how I felt and thought about my body impacted how my body felt! Frustration at my body was common, not understanding its’ language and feeling it had nothing good to say. My true journey was about interpreting my body’s wisdom.

At Wholehealth Genie, I help women remember how to listen to their bodies again.

Not in a “fix it” kind of way. But in a come home kind of way. I’m trained in all the science—

functional nutrition, root-cause healing, clinical protocols. But the magic happens when we slow

down and tune in. Because your body’s already wise. It’s not broken. It’s just been trying to get

your attention.

And once you start listening—really listening—everything softens. Symptoms start making

sense. Food becomes nourishment, not fear. And you stop feeling like you’re living over here

while your body’s doing something else over there. This is what I do. I help you make sense of

the signals. I translate science into something that actually fits your life. And I hold space while

you become friends with your body again—so healing feels like it belongs to you.

The first phase of my program is INVESTIGATE: You can become your own “body guide”:

  • 1. Choose a mantra or statement to ground you like... My body is wise, or My body knows

    how to heal.

  • 2. Take 2 minutes to breathe into that truth- try the 4/5/6 breath. Inhale for 4, hold for 5 and

    exhale for 6. That will shift you to the parasympathetic nervous system where healing

    happens.

  • 3. Tune into symptoms, sensations and ask “What’s happening now, if my gut, belly, arm,

    etc. had a voice what would it say to me? Trust that message.
